By purchasing a commission from me, you are automatically agreeing to my Terms of Service.

I have a life outside of my commission work, every commissions needs it's own time frame to be worked on

I have a public blacklist, do not contact me for a commission if you are on that list or associate with anyone on the list

Currently Twitter, Instagram, Bluesky, and Cara are my preferred ways to keep in contact! If you would like to talk via email please DM on one of those sites with your email and I will be in touch!

I take about 24 hours at max to respond to messages

I ask that clients give me feedback throughout the entire commission process to make sure the piece is perfect to them!

If the client DOES NOT reply to a message from me within 72 hours (3 days) about their commission, the commission is forfeit with NO refund

Because of the rule above I always make sure to send a warning message before actually canceling the commission

Once the commission is forfeit I as the creator am allowed to use it for a future project, replacing any aspects I wish

Please be 18+ before commissioning me, I will not work with minors

If commissioning suggestive art AGE MUST BE IN YOUR SOCIAL BIO

If I feel you are lying about your age I will ask for proof of age OR reject the commission

An idea of what you want! Please be as specific as possible, the more information the better!

An UNSHADED reference sheet of your character(s), unless I have said otherwise this is required for color picking correctly (NO TILE WATERMARKS PLEASE)

I require my clients to pay up font within 24-48 hours, failure to do so will result in being blacklisted

If you need to do a payment plan, PLEASE TELL ME UP FRONT (comms $100+)

Only commission me if you know you can pay in full!

Even though I charge flat rates for my commissions, I do add Cash app (2.75%) / Paypal (3.49%) fees that will be taken to ensure I am not being underpaid

I break down the price for every client, so if you have questions about the price you can ask!

PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID TO CHANGE YOUR MIND! If my work is out of your budget entirely or you have changed your mind that is ok, but please do so BEFORE ANY KIND OF COMITMENT

We will talk about exactly what you want and break down the price

PLEASE BE SPECIFIC IN WHAT YOU WANT, the more detail the better!

I use Trello to organize things and so that you can see the progress of your piece!

After confirming what you want, I will send either a payment request (cash app) or an invoice (paypal)

No matter which form of payment is being used please add a note of what the commission is and your social media handle, this is used to keep track of commissions

Payment plans only apply to commissions $100+

If a plan is needed, we can work out specifics if needed, but by default I do them on a monthly basis asking for about $15-20 be payed at a time

Every piece is different in size and detail, so please be patient with me when working on your commission

You are allowed to ask me about the progress of your commission from time to time, but please keep it to a minimum as it stresses me out leading to all commissions being delayed

Please allow 1-2 months maximum for your commission to be finished

If I do not have your commission done within that time frame I will be sure to let you know ahead of time, but usually when this happens I will put in extra details or even a small doodle as an apology

I send a lot of WIP sketches and concepts

All WIPs are watermarked

I try to make sure that you are happy with the way the piece is turning out before continuing to the next stage

You are free to ask for edits of the WIPs, but after the base colors are set if you want to make edits they are an extra $5 per edit unless otherwise stated

Please do not be afraid to ask me to edit things! Again, I want this to be perfect for you!

Once your piece is done I will send you a Google Drive link that has an unwatermarked HQ attachment of your piece

It is the job of the client to download the file ASAP, I delete the file after 1 month

Once the file is deleted from Google Drive, there is no getting it back, so please download your commission ASAP

Due to the rise in AI scraping/training ALL of my pieces are put in a software called "Glaze" this simply puts a bit of texture on the piece to make it harder for my work to be used in AI generation. THIS CANNOT BE CHANGED

I make sure that the glaze does not take away from the piece and is barely noticeable

Sometimes life is a pain and surprise funds are suddenly needed, but please know that when commissioning me refunds are very hard for me to return. I use the funds for medicine, life bills, pet supplies, ect I highly discourage commissioning me if you feel you may need to request a refund or may be tight on money

If you are incredibly unhappy with something about your commission, we can work out a way to fix minor things for you

If your commission has not been started, you will of course receive a full refund. Once your commission reaches the "WIP Sketch" phase, you will receive only 50% of what you paid for. While I am working on your commission, you will receive only a 30% refund. Finally when your commission is completed, there will be no refund regardless the outcome of my work

All forms of art created by GatorTeeth Studios (Maxwell P.) belongs to me and or said client that purchased the artwork

You may NOT use your commission for personal profit of any sort. (Selling said commission piece on shirts, prints, posters, cards, etc.) unless commission is for this (such as logos)

You may NOT use your commission in any form of AI generation

You may upload your commission anywhere you'd like as long as proper credit is given, in general all pieces are watermarked and contain my signature, but proper text written credit is required

If you wish to post another piece of art that is commissioned by another client, please be sure to ask that said client for permission before posting the art piece else where

Since you are the one who commissioned said art piece, you are allowed to let other artists contribute or base off of it for another illustration. Please be sure to let me know before doing so

I post all of my commissions on social media with a watermark, including Instagram, Twitter, Cara, Bluesky, ect.

I like to tag my clients in these posts and add their character's name/pronouns if desired, if this is something you DO NOT want please let me know!

If you do not wish for your commission to be uploaded to a certain site please let me know!

I love getting fanart of my characters! If you want to draw any of my sonas/characters please go ahead! The only thing I ask is you don't violate my NSFW boundaries, but gore and suggestive themes are ok!

I use a lot of names, the most common ones people call me: Maxwell, Gator, Max, Beetle, or Coffee

Other names I use, usually used by close friends and mutuals: Arthur, Eden, Phillip, Crow, and of course the names above

Everyone can use any of these names to refer to me!

I AM NOT OK WITH PET NAMES FROM PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW, There are only a few people that I allow to use pet names for me and they know who they are

DO NOT MAKE NSFW ART OF MY CHARACTERS UNLESS COMMISSIONED BY ME! This is mainly referring to porn and sexual things involving my characters and myself.

DO NOT SEXUALIZE ME, it makes me VERY uncomfortable

DO NOT FETISHIZE ME. I know there are some people who fetishize trans/LGBTQ+ people, don't do this for me or anyone, it's gross

I am however ok with being called handsome, pretty, cute, ect.

I am NOT ok with being called sexy, hot, or gross pet names

I try to be a pretty private person when it comes to my exact location, legal name, romantic life, and general life outside of my art work

If you know me in real life, PLEASE KEEP MY LOCATION A SECRET, I do not wish for my city to be out there unless I give it out

Do not look for where I work, since I am currently working a "normal" job I don't want random people who follow me to show up there

Do not look for my families social medias, this makes me and my family very uncomfortable

Do not follow my friends just to talk about me, get free stuff from me, or to get personal information about me or them

Do not post pictures of my face any where if you have any! There are some folks who have my full permission and they know who they are!
